Two wild-wacky women from the wickedly-wild west bringing us their unique tones in a very unusual manner. By day, a special-ed teacher and activist, but by night singer-songwriter Kate Roxwell or Tacoma Kate as she’s also known, is banging away at her drums like a pussy cat out of hell.

Speaking of the land of fire and ice, bad-ass co-writer and bassist Brenda ‘Yippee-Ki-Yay’ Kaylee is nearby slapping away at her strings with the utmost delight. She handles her instrument like a recent memory from an S & M inspired moment.

The album is laced with sex, drugs, and tremendous humor. This is a very unusual blend of punk rock mixed with shining hints of rock ‘n’ roll. It’s not often you find music that isn’t reliant on a guitar. Well, Klondike Kate is one of those rhythm-heavy exceptions. Inspire these young dames for they are asking for your ears as well as your desires.
