Ed Gage began his solo career upon his arrival to Hollywood in 2017. After a lengthy search, he added two phenomenal players to the permanent ranks of the band, Derek Sedota and Nick Moran. The three of them began performing live in 2018 and have continued to do so ever since. Ed previously had friendships with late Grim Reaper vocalist Steve Grimmett and Raven bassist and frontman John Gallagher. During the decisively quiet times of the 2020 Covid Pandemic, Ed approached Steve Grimmett and John Gallagher about doing a studio cover of ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ by AC/DC. The recording was finalized in 2021. David Ulysses Portnow of PIG Records caught the accompanying music video later that year and loved it. He was already a fan of Ed Gage’s genius guitar playing. (Mr. Gage has been compared to Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, and Robin Trower.) On August 15th, 2022, tragedy struck and Steve Grimmett passed on. At the age of 62, our hero who belted out ‘See You In Hell My Friend’ with perfection was gone and the ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ was his last recording. PIG Records saw an opportunity to commemorate Steve’s life and reached out to Ed Gage in the hopes of doing a hand-numbered individual cut lathe limited to 100 copies. In addition, PIG will continue to promote the video for all eternity. The final question is, what will go on the B-side? The choice was easy, an Ed Gage guitar solo. The B Side guitar solo ‘The Depths Of Valhalla’ was recorded in 2019 by Ed Gage and was previously released on the 2021 ‘Moth To The Flame’ EP. It is fucking great! Steve Grimmett (August 19th, 1959 to August 15th, 2022) – we will ‘See You In Hell, Our Friend!’

*Ed Gage is also an actor and martial artist. He has appeared in numerous films and television shows and is especially known for displaying his martial art talents on the big screen. In 2014 he graduated from Erie Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Communications and Media Arts. In 2017, he followed that up with a Bachelor in Arts from Florida Atlantic University.
