about

‘They Came (From Outer Space)’ or so they like to think they did. These grown men wrap themselves in tin foil pretend as they came from outer space. These solar powered idiots have no idea that they may one day cook themselves. Barbecued Potbelly Barbecued Pork what’s the difference? It’s all flesh and blood anyways. It’d also be a right proper way to ‘Purge Your Demons.’ Speaking of Demons, the always witty, wacky boys from Oak Harbor and no, it’s not the Oak Harbor Boys, (although a name change is in order,) it’s Potbelly!!! They were established in 1995 and they’re damn proud of it. To celebrate, they recoil with 12 new recordings of their own and then the record takes a weird twist. It’s Potbelly, no it’s not. What the hell, 21 other bands digging into Potbelly’s originals. There’s an inclusion’s by Indonesia’s Citizen Useless and internationally acclaimed acts like The Dehumanizers and 13 Scars. Pill Brigade frighten the soul with a dashing cover of ‘Girl’s Are So Much Sexier When They’re Terrified,” and the Brigade’s version has become a strip club sensation. Just maybe Potbelly is better savored in tin foil because this is a brilliant, fun, unique and rare experience.
