There are not many bands that have a longer discography than history, but Potbelly ranks amongst that rare breed. (Antiseen, GG Allin, etc.) They’ve had seven or eight classics but Sterilize The Stupid was their first breakthrough record, recorded in 2010. Potbelly uses its speed and aggression to immortalize Deborah Harry in one song, following it up in the next by appropriately killing Rush Limbaugh. They add a cover of the Dehumanizers ‘Can’t Sleep,’ and introduce such Potbelly classics as ‘Life In Decay’ and ‘Social Eye Sores.’ We also get a taste of ‘the Beer Trilogy’ both forwards and backward. What else could these bad boys add? How about a slashing great Christmas Song – ‘Stocking Stuff Her.’ Meet the crew that has been dominating the West Coast for a very long time. Now they’re ready to splash the rest of the world. From the land of Mermen, I give you ‘Sterilize The Stupid!’
