about

Potbelly pays homage to the greatest metal band in history, Iron Maiden, and tribute to Maiden’s cover artist Derek Riggs with the front cover ‘Killers’ spoof of this five-song seven-inch EP from a Potbelly line-up that features Corey Worthless, Chris Solis and Jeff Thayer, in addition to the two Potbelly staples Ken Ball and Jason Potbelly.

Sadly, after a lengthy tenure with the Potbelly, this would be Corey’s last recording, departing to return home, to Boise, Idaho, the Potato State. Both Jason and Corey operated as front men creating a unique double-punch-slam-it-down your throat style of vocals that have never been duplicated in the Northwest again.

‘We’re Still Swillers After All These Years’ contains six tracks, opening with the giddy-up & hurry of ‘Drone Strikes’ followed by the slow roasting of ‘The Jesus Espresso Massacre’ which has sadly fallen off the live playlist. It was the perfect cold winter night club song to listen to while sipping on a Spanish Coffee with your beloved. Firing on all cylinders, it's race time again with the next three, ‘Good Start,’ ‘At A Lost,’ and thirty seconds of ‘the Stage.’ For the finale, the listening audience must pour a shot of Sailor Jerry’s and a grab a creamed filled donut to properly enjoy the humorous Potbelly hit, ‘Wenches & Rum!’ Original release date February 19th, 2016. Cover art by Christi Rodger.
